This post will always list any planned major updates for Future Democracy, either of the book or otherwise.

As of 2024-03-12:
  1. the whole Introduction and Essentials main chapter will be completely overhauled (highly improved chapter structure) and greatly extended
  2. there will come a new major chapter with lots of content aimed at really clarifying any concepts that for many (or even most) readers prove to be too abstract to be fully (or even at all) understood otherwise
  3. the whole book will be proofread once again by another professional editor
  4. all the architecture images will be replaced by quite photorealistic Blender renderings of fully remodeled scenes (which will also allow for the book to be sold commercially by publishing houses)

Is that still up to date? I've noticed there is a very recent new edition of the book available for online on the website. And from our talks I thought you'd still be moving things along?

Sadly, yes, it's still valid. I just could not manage to work much on the book in the past two years, for instance because my family and I moved into a bigger house, and because I just had other very important big projects that needed my focused attention. My new goal is now the second quarter of 2026, ie producing a text-final version of the book by the end of June. That about the new 3D renderings mentioned above though will have to wait even longer, as I probably will only find the necessary time in 2029-2030.
